[Closing]

That’s it for the article about National Palace Museum as part of Day 3.

National Palace Museum is stated as one of the world four museums, along with the Louvre Museum in France, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the US and the Hermitage Museum in Russia. I visited National Palace Museum for a short period due to my schedule, but if you have ample of time, I would recommend you stay there longer 🙂

In the next article, I will write about National Martyrs’ Shrine as part of Day 3.

  1. Hi! Really informative blog post. Am going on a trip to Taipei later this week and this got me more excited 🙂

Was just wondering, what day of the week did you visit the museum? And how were the crowds? I’ve been hearing stories of overcrowding and I’m hoping it doesn’t ruin the experience.

    Thanks so much! 🙂

    1. Hi Adrian, thank you for your comment. It was Saturday morning when I visited the museum. As I was worried about the congestion, I went to the museum in accordance with its opening time (i.e. 8:30 am). Actually, the museum was not crowded so much during my visit. So, I would recommend you visit the museum early in the morning. I hope my reply will be of some help to you 🙂

    1. Hi Kevin, thank you for your comment. I agree with you. The cabbage was much smaller than I expected. However, I was impressed with its sophistication 🙂

  2. Hi,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Quite insightful! Btw, how long did you spend your time in the museum? We’re kinda in a cramped sched so I’m trying to estimate time we could allot for each spot. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks!

    1. Hi KL, thank you for your comment. In my case, I stayed at National Palace Museum for about 3 hours including Zhishan Garden. Ideally, it might be better to spend another 1-2 hours, but I made a short visit due to my tight schedule. If you go around the museum quickly and skip Zhishan Garden, I guess it it will take 2 hours at least. I hope my reply will be of some help 🙂
