Okinawa Trip without Car: Part 9: Sightseeing Bus Tour (3) Busena Marine Park and Underwater Observatory

[Introduction]

I traveled to Okinawa for four days and three nights. This time, I visited Okinawa Main Island, mainly Naha area. My concern was that I don’t drive, which might make my trip difficult, but I enjoyed the trip very much by using monorail and taking bus tours. In this article, I will write about Busena Marine Park and Underwater Observatory as part of Day 3.

Following the previous post, this article is about “B-1 course Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Busena Underwater Observatory, Kouri Island and Mihama American Village Tour” in the Okinawa HIP HOP BUS operated by Jumbo Tours.

Arrived at Busena Marine Park

I moved from Ocean Expo Park to Busena Marine Park.

Busena Marine Park is a resort area located in Nago city. There are several facilities in the park, such as beach, underwater observatory and hotel.

Underwater Observatory

Let’s start with underwater observatory.

In the underwater observatory, visitors are able to enjoy underwater scenery at 4-5 meters water depth with 360 degrees windows.

So I will go downstairs from the entrance.

I arrived at the underwater observatory.

Busena Marine Park Snaps

After underwater observatory, I will walk around Busena Marine Park. Here are some photo snaps.

These three women are foreign tourists from Hong Kong. They asked me to take photos.

There was a glass-bottom boat in Busena Marine Park.

Unfortunately, the glass-bottom boat was not operating due to bad weather condition.

This is the most popular scenery in Busena Marine Park.

“The Busena Terrace”, the accommodation in Busena Marine Park.

Busena Marine Park is relatively large and there are shuttle buses running.

I took snap photos in the beach.

At the last moment, when I returned to the tour bus, I found the shuttle bus parked and the bus driver encouraged me to take photos.

Then, I will move to Mihama American Village, the final destination of the bus tour.

When I travel, I often make busy scudules so that I can visit as many spots as possible. However, I would like to spend a relax time at a resort area like Busena Marine Park next time 🙂
