[Introduction]
I traveled to Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan for five days and four nights in the middle of September. I was impressed by Taiwan when I visited Taipei at the end of April, and I revisited Taiwan in less than a half year. I had some difficulties in gathering information compared to Taipei, but I found there were lots of things to do in Kaohsiung as well. In this article, I will write about Love River as part of Day 2.

Love River
Following the previous post, I moved from Yanchengpu area to around Love River. The following photo was taken at Kaohsiung Museum of History on the way to Love River.
I just passed Kaohsiung Museum of History due to my schedule, but the colonial building was impressive.
From here, I walked around Love River.
Love River is a river, which runs from northwest to Port of Kaohsiung over the entire length of 15 km. There were walking paths on both sides.
Cruise ships called “Love River Boat” were operating.
There was also a monument of “Love”.
Here are photos around Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung, which was located near Love River.
At Kaohsiung Bridge.
Near Lover River, there were two piers, which were Love Pier and Glory Pier.
Just happened to see “Kaohsiung bear hero”.
I will stroll around another pass on the west.
Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung was the tallest around here.
There were piers for “Love River Boat” on both east side and west side.
In addition, there was another type of boat, “Love River Gondola”.
I will take a rest at a small restaurant called “Gold Love River”.
Love River Light-up
Now It became dark, I will watch light-up of Love River. Here is a view from Zhongzheng Bridge.
Not only tourists but also local people were gathering there.
Love River Boat was light up after sunset.
The Love monument was also light up and lots of people took photos here.
Surrounding spots were colorful.
From here, I started to use a tripod.
Then, I returned to the hotel and the third day of my Taiwan Kaohsiung trip was over.
