Kobe Trip Part 13 (Final) : Evening Snaps in Sannomiya and Return Home

I traveled to Kobe in early March. In Kobe, major tourist spots such as bay area, Kitano Ijinkan-gai and Chinatown were concentrated, which was convenient for tourists. In this article, I will write about evening scene in Sannomiya and return home as part of Day 4

Kobe Beef Ramen Yazawa (神戸牛らーめん八坐和)

Following the previous post, I returned from “Mitsui Outlet Park Marine Pia Kobe (三井アウトレットパークマリンピア神戸)” to Sannomiya (三宮). I will have a last meal in my Kobe trip.

I visited “Kobe Beef Ramen Yazawa (神戸牛らーめん八坐和)”.

In the restaurant.

As a signature menu, I ordered “Kobe Beef Ramen”.

Kobe City Hall Observation Deck

There is an observation deck for free in the Kobe City Hall, so I visited it.

Visitors can access to the observation deck via a direct elevator.

As I would like to take photos around sunset, I killed time at a cafe in the observation deck.

The cafe also had viewing tables.

I will go around the observation deck. On the south side, visitors can see bay area.

On the north side, they can see streetscapes of Sannomiya (三宮) and Kitano (北野).

As it gradually got dark, light-ups started.

As time passed, it became more gorgeous.

Night Snaps in Sannomiya (三宮)

Finally, I will take night photos around Sannomiya (三宮). This building is “SOGO Kobe”, a commercial complex.

Now it was time to leave.

I will move to Sannomiya (三宮) station.

I took a train photo.

From a walking path.

“Mint Kobe” is a local commercial complex.

Then, I moved to Kobe Airport via Port Liner.

Kobe Airport and Return Home

I came to Kobe Airport. The airport was calm as there were only two flights that were going to depart this evening.

I just happened to see an unusual scene in the airport. A crime prevention drill was conducted.

Not only airport and airline staff, but also police officers participated in the training.

While I used Skymark from Tokyo to Kobe (see the related article), I used ANA for my return flight.

To recap the trip, as the final article of Kobe trip series, as I mentioned in the [Introduction], major tourist spots such as bay area, Kitano Ijinkan-gai and Chinatown were concentrated, which was convenient for tourists. On the other hand, however, I felt I didn’t have enough time to take photos in Bay Area just in one day, so I wish I had another chance to visit there. In addition, Kobe is famous for “Kobe Luminarie”, a light festival held every December, so I would like to visit Kobe again in December 🙂

Regarding my next trip, I have already arranged it. I am going to Shanghai from May 23 to 27. While I have been to Hong Kong and Macau several times, I visited Mainland China (Beijing) just once on business about ten years ago and it’s my first time to travel to Mainland China.
