I took a day trip to Nagatoro, Saitama Prefecture to see autumn colors. Apart from autumn colors, there were several activities such as steam locomotive and river boating, and I saw lots of visitors there. In this article, I will write about the steam locomotive and autumn colors spots.

Start of journey
Brochure and one-day pass for Chichibu railway.
The first destination was Kaminagatoro Station.
I arrived the the station around 11 a.m. and had Japanese noodle for a lunch.
Steam Locomotive – The Paleo Express at Arakawa Bridge
After lunch, I went to Arakawa Bridge, which was about 10 minute walk from the station.
The reason why I visited there was because a steam locomotive, The Paleo Express, crossed the bridge.

Saitama Museum of Natural History
After watching the steam locomotive, I moved to Saitama Museum of Natural History.
Here, I enjoyed seeing autumn colors.

Next, I went to Tsukinoishi Momiji Park, which was adjacent to Saitama Museum of Natural History.
Likewise, I enjoyed seeing autumn colors.

Then, I moved to riverbank of Arakawa river near the park.
