[Main Part (sequel to the previous post)]
Now I started to view the Otaru Snow Light Path Festival, which was one of the main purposes in this trip.
There were three venues for the event – (1) Canal Kaijo area, (2) Temiyasen Kaijo area , (3) Asari River Hot Spring Kaijo area. This time, I visited the Canal Kaijo area and the Temiyasen Kaijo area.
First, the Canal Kaijo area.
There were a variety of snow works.
Night view of Otaru Canal.
Heart-shaped works
Maple leaf
View from Central Bridge (Chuo Bashi).
Then, I moved to another venue, the Temiyasen Kaijo area.
Snow mountain with art works
I felt the warmth of the event.
Snowmen couple.
They are in love with each other, aren’t they?
Japanese traditional art works.
Ball.
Heart.
Probably, owl?
Again, heart-shaped works.
[Closing]
So, that’s it for the article about the first day of the four-day three-night trip to Otaru and Sapporo. If you are interested in snow events in Japan and would prefer more heartfelt atomosphere, I would recommend the Otaru Snow Light Path Festival 🙂
