Sapporo Snow Festival @Tsudome site and JR Tower Observatory

[Introduction]

I visited Otaru and Sapporo to see winter festivals – “Otaru Snow Light Path Festival (Otaru Yuki Akari no Michi)” and “Sapporo Snow Festival (Sapporo Yuki Matsuri)”.

It was a four-day three-night trip and in this article, I write about the fourth day.

* Day 1: Otaru (Sankaku Market – Otaru Canal – Sakaimachi Street – North Wall Street – Otaru Snow Light Path Festival)
* Day 2: Otaru (North Canal – Otaru City Museum) – Sapporo (Sapporo Snow Festival)
* Day 3: Sapporo (Former Hokkaido Government Office Building – Sapporo Clock Tower – Maruyama Zoo – Hokkaido Shrine – Shiroi Koibito Park)
* Day 4: Sapporo (Sapporo Central Wholesale Market – Sapporo Snow Festival – JR Tower Observatory – Sapporo Beer Museum – Sapporo Factory)

Day 4 of the trip to Otaru and Sapporo.

I visited “Kaisen-Shokudo Kitano Gourmet-tei” at Sapporo Central Wholesale Market to have breakfast.

I ordered “Sanshoku-don” with salmon.

The restaurant also runs a shop that sells a variety of seafood products.

Crab.

Hokke fish.

Salmon.

Kinki fish.

Now I returned to the hotel to check out.

The hotel I stayed was the HOTEL RESOL TRINITY SAPPORO. It was one of the nearest hotel to the Sapporo Winter Festival Odori site, so if you plan to see the event, you consider this hotel.

Today, I went to Sapporo Winter Festival Tsudome site.

Sweets around Sapporo Station.

Then, I visited “JR Tower Observatory T38”.

Then, I moved to the next destination.
