[Introduction]
I traveled to Singapore in late June for the first time in two years. In addition to famous tourist areas, I went around spots I have never been to before this time. While I have lived in Singapore for a year and half before, I find something new whenever I revisit Singapore. In this article, I will write about a night walk around Orchard Road as part of Day 2.

Night Walk around Orchard Road
Following the previous post, I will take a night walk around Orchard Road.
I started walking from “Wisma Astra”.
Light-up started in the evening, so Orchard Road looked bright more and more.
People in silhouette.
I came to “ION Orchard”.
I took lots of photos around “ION Orchard” two years ago (see the related article), but I found I had retouched photos too brightly, so I will retouch pictures modestly this time.
With a dog object.
“WHEELOCK PLACE”, which was adjacent to “ION Orchard”.
It was something like a planetarium.
“Tangs”, which I visited for dinner. There was also Marriott Hotel.
“Paragon”, my favorite shopping mall.
I like this art work.
I moved east and reached “Mandarin Gallery”.
In the adjacent hotel, there was “CHATTERBOX”, which was famous for chicken rice (see the related article).
There was also “Victoria’s Secret”.
At an intersection.
Apple store.
“Robinsons” was a traditional department store.
This outlet was relatively newly opened in 2013.
“Victoria’s Secret” again.
I moved east further.
I came to “Orchard Gateway” at Somerset.
I used my tripod here.
It was cool, wasn’t it?
There was a passageway “the tube”.
As you can see, it was a popular photo spot.
Then, I returned to the hotel and the second day of my Singapore trip was over.
[Closing]
That’s it for the article about a night walk around Orchard Road as part of Day 2.
As far as Orchard Road was concerned, I thought the west side from “Paragon” and “Ngee Ann City” to “ION Orchard” was the main area while I had not spent so much time on the east side so far. This time, however, I took night photos at Somerset and found the east area, especially around “Orchard Gateway”, was very attractive. If you have a chance to visit Orchard Road, I recommend you visit the east side as well as the west side 🙂
In the next article, I will write about Sentosa (Madame Tussauds/Merlion etc.) as part of Day 3.
