Fukuoka Trip Part 6 Fukuoka Tower’s Illumination

福岡タワー アイキャッチ画像

[Introduction]

I traveled to Fukuoka, in mid December. While Fukuoka has an image of gourmet town, it has also tourist spots more than I expected. In this article, I will write about Fukuoka Tower as part of Day 2. “Fukuoka Tower” is lighted up in the evening with colors changing by season, and I found it very impressive.

Fukuoka Tower Observation Deck

Following the previous post, I came to “Fukuoka Tower” as the final destination of the second day.""

“Fukuoka Tower” was opened in 1989 as the tallest seaside tower in Japan with the height of 234 meters. Visitors can enjoy expansive 360-degree panoramic view spreading out over the blue sea, green mountains, and sparkling cityscape from the observation deck.

I reached the observation deck. It suddenly became cloudy a little bit around this time.""

“Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk” is visible over there.""

The observation deck had three floors and the bottom one is an amusement floor. For example, “Sky Gacha”. Get a present from a sky.""

“Fortune Telling Pin Ball”. Face to the sky and try your luck!""

“Lover’s Sanctuary”. When the couple presses a switch, the heart will light up.""

On the middle floor, there was a cafe “Refuge” and I stopped by it to take a short rest.""

I ordered “Rainbow Roll Parfait”.""

After a short break, the sun started to go down and I will take evening photos from the observation deck.""

The sunset was before 6 p.m. in winter.""

On the other hand, from the central entrance side, the illumination of Fukuoka Tower became gorgeous.

Then, I returned to the hotel and the second day of my Fukuoka trip was over.

[Closing]

That’s it for the article about Fukuoka Tower as part of Day 2.

“Fukuoka Tower” is selected as one of “the 100 best night views in Japan” by a nonprofit organization and its night view was actually impressive. In addition, “Fukuoka Tower” is lighted up in the evening with colors changing by season. So, I strongly recommend “Fukuoka Tower” 🙂

In the next article, I will write about Marine World Uminonakamichi as part of Day 3.
