[Main Part (sequel to the previous post)]
Now I moved from Otaru to Sapporo. I will spend the rest of time on visiting Sapporo Snow Festival (@ Odori Site).
Sapporo Snow Festival shows lots of snow statues every year and the Snow Star Wars was the most featured statue this year.
So, let’s start with the Snow Star Wars.
Darth Vader.
Storm trooper.
Of course, there were a variety of snow status other than the Snow Star Wars. So, I walked through the site.
Taiwan – Xingtian Temple (Taipei City).
The Manila Cathedral.
Sazae-san Family, a famous Japanese TV cartoon.
Here are small or mid-sized snow works.
I once left the Sapporo Snow Festival site and visited Sapporo TV Tower.
Went up to the observatory.
Night view from Sapporo TV Tower.
I returned to the festival site, as there was night illumination.
The Town of Toys
Projection mapping.
Shiroi Koibito PARK AIR Jumping Platform.
Snow Star Wars.
Taiwan – Xingtian Temple (Taipei City)
The Manila Cathedral.
Kasuga Taisha Shrine; the Middle Gate and Hall
Sazae-san Family.

So, that’s it for the article about the second day of the four-day three-night trip to Otaru and Sapporo. Although I took measures against cold to some extent, it was much colder than I expected, especially at night. So, if you have a chance to visit Hokkaido in winter, I would recommend you take enough measures against cold 🙂
