[Introduction]
I traveled to Ehime and Kagawa Prefecture for 4 days and 3 nights. In this article, I will write about Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village (Nijyushi-no-hitomi eigamura). The facility remains exactly same as it was when the movie was shot and I felt as if I slipped back in time to the Showa Era.

[Main Part]
Following my previous post, I left Ehime Prefecture for Kagawa Prefecture and moved to Shodoshima Island. I went around several places in Shodoshima Island and the first destination was the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village (Nijyushi-no-hitomi eigamura).
What is the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village (Nijyushi-no-hitomi eigamura)?
“Twenty-Four Eyes” (Nijyushi-no-hitomi) is a Japanese movie filmed in 1954 and remade in 1987. The movie depicts the lives of a female school teacher and her students during WWII. The Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village (Nijyushi-no-hitomi eigamura) shows the movie set used for the filming.
Movie set of the school building
The main exhibition in this movie village is a movie set of the school building. So, I spent more time on watching it.
Other exhibits in the movie village
Apart from the movie set of the school building, there are lots of exhibits that are photogenic in the movie village.
Existing old school building
In addition, there is an existing old school building that served as a model of the movie near the movie village. It was actually used for an elementary school from 1902 to 1972 and I visited there.
[Closing]
So, that’s it for the article about the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village (Nijyushi-no-hitomi eigamura).
In the next article, I will write about Shodoshima Olive Park.
