[Main Part]
This is the final article of my Taipei trip series.
Huashan 1914 Creative Park
I reached Huashan 1914 Creative Park, which was the last tourist spot of my Taipei trip.
Huashan 1914 Creative Park is a renovated art complex that was built as a winery in 1914 during Japanese rule. There were digital museum, gallery, live house, cafe, restaurant and shops etc. in the complex.
I just happened to see a group who wore gowns to take commemorative photos for their graduation.
I also saw people who shot videos of dancing.
The building had artistic and retro atmosphere.
A girl who rode on skateboard passed.
There was a theater.
Other snap photos.
TRA Boxed Meal Stand
I returned to the hotel to pick up my luggage and moved to Taipei station. First, I bought some souvenirs on the first basement floor.
Then, I visited the TRA (Taiwan Railways Administration) Boxed Meal Stand.
I bought Pork Chop Boxed Meal in an Octagonal Box for lunch.
Taoyuan Airport MRT Line
Now I will go to airport. I used Taipei Songshan Airport to came to Taipei while I will use Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to return to Tokyo.
Taoyuan Airport MRT Line, which connects Taipei station and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, has started its operation since March 2017, so I will use this new MRT line.
Just like KL Sentral station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in-town check-in was available at Taipei station (Note: Only for four airlines such as China Airlines and Eva Airways etc. at this moment).
In the MRT train.
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport
I arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
I stopped by a stoll of Chun Shui Tang at the foodcourt on the basement floor.
I ordered Tapioca Milk Tea.
Departure lobby.
Restaurant area on the upper floor.
Shopping area.
I went through the embarkation procedure and dropped by a restaurant to have a rest.
Now I will move to the departure gate.
Fly to Tokyoi with Chine Airlines Flight 106
I will use China Airlines again just same with the flight to come to Taipei.
Regarding return flights, I usually choose aisle seats for domestic trip, but this time I chose a window seat so that I could see the scenery in Taipei as long as possible.
I’d love to stay, but the airplane started to take off.
Return to Japan.
Here is the in-flight meal.
The sky started to go dark.
Then, I arrived at Narita airport and went back to reality.
[Closing]
That’s it for the article about Huashan 1914 Creative Park and return to home as part of Day 4.
To sum up my travel, I enjoyed Taipei more than I expected. While the central area in Taipei is as sophisticated as other large cities like Tokyo, the suburb areas such as Jiufen and towns along Pingxi Line are tranquil. I was worried a little but before the trip, since I don’t understand Chinese at all. However, I found my concern proved unfounded. I was able to communicate in English and Japanese more than I expected and above all Taiwanese people were very friendly to me. There are still several places around Taipei I would like to visit including Tamsui, which is famous for its beautiful sunset. I also would like to visit other cities in Taiwan, such as Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung.
Now I completed the Taipei trip series that contains 13 articles. Thank you for reading my blog. I have already arranged my next travel. I am going to Okinawa island for 4 days and 3 nights from July 1st to 4th. I will start to write about my Okinawa trip once I return from Okinawa, so please stay tuned 🙂
