Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016 2nd day part 2

[Introduction]

I traveled to Matsuyama, the capital of Ehime Prefecture, for 4 days and 3 nights. The main purpose of this trip was to watch Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016 on the last 2 days. My favorite Milan, which is the mascot character of Ehime Prefecture, did not participate in the contest, but entertained other local mascot characters and the audience as a host of the event with Barysan, Imabari city’s mascot character. I also participated in a PR event for the Grand Prix and did some sightseeing. In this article, I will write about Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016 (2nd Day part 2) as part of Day 4.

Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016

Following the previous post, I will watch Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016.

Yuru-chara PR time

Yuru-chara PR times was held at Shiroyama stage. Here are some photos.

Mican and Dark Mican special stage

After Yuru-chara PR time, there was a special stage by Mican and Dark Mican.

Mican was introduced.

Then, Dark Mican was introduced.

Mican and Dark Mican tried to jump rope at the stage.

To begin with, Mican skipped rope. Mican was able to jump rope twenty times, which was his personal best.

Mican had a pleasant look.

Next, Dark Mican tried to jump rope, but skipped ropes just around five times or so.

Unfortunately, Dark Mican had an acccident. Dark Mican twisted his ankle when he jumped rope. Moreover, his constume was partly tore off. Mican protected Dark Mican.

Anyway, the event was complete sucessfully.

Mikkya Ring Go Go!! Live stage

There was a live show of Mikkya Ring Go Go!! at Shiroyama stage.

Mikkya Ring Go Go!! is a local idole unit group in Ehime. They sang their two songs.

I left Shiroyama stage and went to Mican and Dark Mican booth. I found they were surrounded by audience.

Then, I went to the groumet zone and had a quick bite.

Ehime-no-Teppen Grand Prix

Now the ceremony started. To begin with, “Ehime-no-Teppen Grand Prix”, which was the race for local chracters in Ehime Prefecture.

The governor of Ehime Prefecture showed up together with Mican and Dark Mican.

The second place was “Happy Shoppy and Fujippy” of Fuji Corporation.

The first place was “Happy Cover-kun” of Matsuyama City.

Ceremony for Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016

Then, the the ceremony of Yuru-chara Grand Prix began.

The governor of Ehime Prefecture’s speech.

First, “Yru-chara for children 2016” was announced. This award was given to a local mascot charcter who contributed local community and children. “Tochisuke” got the prize.

Then, Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016 for corporate sector was announced. The 3rd place was “Risonya” of Risona group.

The 2nd place was “Konnnosuke” of Nitro Plus Corporartion.

The 1st place was “Posukuma” of Japan Post Office.

After corporate sector, local sector was announced.

The 10th place was “Tsuge-san” of Kaiduka City, Osaka.

The 9th place was “Hanitan” of Takatsuki City, Osaka.

The 8th place was “Yuzu Gappa” of Tokushima Prefecture.

The 7th place was “Shimakekko” of Shimane Prefecture.

The 6th place was “Mimurin” of Misato-cho, Saitama Prefecture.

The 5th place was “Takino-michi Yuzuru” of Minome City, Osaka.

The 4th place was “Tochisuke” of Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture.

The 3rd place was “Chuppy” of Soja City, Okayama Prefecture.

The 2nd place was “Hanipon” of Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture.

And the 1st places was…

“Shinjo-kun” of Suzaki City, Kochi Prefecture.

Mican and Dark Mican booth again

Now all of the events of Yuru-chara Grand Prix 2016 was over. As a Mican fan, I visited Mican and Dark Mican booth again at the last minute.

This was the final photo of Mican and Dark Mican.
