[Main Part]
Following the previous post, I returned from Galaxy Macau to Cotai Strip by Cotai Express. As it was the final night in Macau, I will go around casino resorts in Cotai area again.
Studio City Macau
First, I went to “Studio City Macau”, which I visited at the end of last night (see the related article).
I will ride on “Golden Reel”, a figure-8 Ferris wheel, as it was outside of business hours when I visited “Studio City Macau” last night.
Fortunately, there were not any other visitors at that time, so I was able to take it all to myself.
View from the ferris wheel.
The ferris wheel went up along the outer perimeter of figure-8.
The ferris wheel was glass-walled including the bottom side, so it might be a little bit frightening for people with height phobia.
The sun went down gradually.
A 15-minutes ride was over.
After I got off the ferris wheel, I took several photos of the ferris wheel closely.
If I have a chance to revisit it, I would like to ride on it in the evening.
The Parisian Macao
Then, I moved to “The Parisian Macao”.
Although I climbed up the Eiffel Tower just after sunset yesterday (see the related article), I would like to see the view during the day, so I decided to revisit the Eiffel Tower.
View of Sands Cotai Central where I have been staying.
If you value hotel stay, “The Parisian Macao” would be a good choice.
Now I will have dinner. There was a food court on the 5th floor and I stopped by “AZORES EXPRESS”, a Macanese cuisine stall.
I ordered duck rice and two egg tarts.
When I went outside, it was just around sunset.
The combination of the sunset sky and the various colored Eiffel Tower was fantastic.
This magic hour was so precious that I returned to Studio City Macau.
To tell the truth, I didn’t have much expectation on Studio City Macau, as I didn’t have enough information, but I found Studio City Macau was one of the best photogenic buildings in Macau.
Now the sun went down completely and I returned to the Parisian Macao.
View from across the road (Cotai Strip).
The Venetian Macao
I moved north from the Parisian Macao to “The Venetian Macao”.
Talking of the Venetian Macao, “Shoppes at Venetian”, a shopping mall that reproduces the Venetian town, was the most famous (see the related article), but I found the exterior was also photogenic.
The current prosperity of casino resorts in Cotai area started when Las Vegas Sands opened the Venetian Macao in 2007.
City of Dreams
Then, I came to “City of Dreams”, the secondary opened casino resort in Cotai area following the Venetian Macao.
On the right side, there was Sands Cotai Central where I have been staying.
Speaking of City of Dreams, its interior and hotel lobby were very artistic (see the related article), and I think its exterior was also impressive.
Both City of Dreams and Studio City Macau are operated by “Melco Resorts & Entertainment”, a Hong Kong based entertainment company, and I found each casino resort had a good sense of design.
路氹連貫公路圓形地 Rotunda do Istmo
There was a circle overpass “路氹連貫公路圓形地 (Rotunda do Istmo)” at the north end of Cotai Strip. I revisited it following this morning (see the related article).
As it was in the evening, I created trajectory of car lights by decreasing the shutter speed.
View from the overpass.
Galaxy Macau
Lastly, I wavered whether I will go to “Wynn Palace” or “Galaxy Macau”, both of which were a little far from Cotai Strip, and I chose Galaxy Macau.
The main attraction of Galaxy Macau is “Fortune Diamond” in the lobby (see the related article), but the light-up in the evening was also worth a visit.
The last photo was taken at the connecting bridge to connect “Broadway Macau”.
Then, I retuned to Sands Cotai Central by “Cotai Connection”, a free shuttle bus, and the fourth day of my Macau trip was over.
[Closing]
That’s it for the article about evening view of casino resorts in Cotai area as part of Day 4.
The main tourist spots in Macau are divided into the World Heritage sites in Macau Peninsula and mega casino resorts in Cotai area, so there are lots of tourists who stay in Macau Peninsula and visit Cotai area as a day trip. However, evening view of casino resorts in Cotai area is very impressive and photogenic, so I recommend you stay overnight in Cotai area as much as possible 🙂
In the next article, I will write about Macau Tower as part of Day 5.
