Zenkoji Temple Gokaicho event: Part 2

[Introduction]

I took a day trip to Zenkoji temple at Nagano prefecture to watch the Zenkoji Temple Maedachi Honzon Gokaicho event.  The event is held once in seven years to welcome to the Main Hall the Maedachi Honzon statue. There are two articles for the trip and this article is the second part.

Following my previous article, I returned to Zenkoji temple.

This time I headed to Eko-bashira Pillar I passed earlier due to crowds. Around this time, crowds were eased.

As I mentioned in my previous article, it is believed that if you touch the pillar, you can receive benefits. Now I was able to touch it 🙂

After touching pillar, I just walked though the temple.

Around dusk

Then I returned to Tokyo.
