This was my sixth trip to Ehime Matsuyama and I was able to enjoy the trip as my first travel since I changed my camera and lens. [Main Part]
Dogo Onsen Hot Spring CHAHARU (茶玻瑠)
Following the previous post, I will continue to go around Dogo Onsen Hot Spring. First, I checked in “Dogo Onsen Hot Spring CHAHARU (茶玻瑠)” where I will stay this night.
At the lobby.
Here is my room.
There was an observation lounge on the top floor.
Uotake (魚武)
I will have an early dinner at “Uotake (魚武)”.
“Uotake (魚武)” was located near Dogo Onsen Honkan in the Dogo Shopping Arcade.
“Uotake (魚武)” serves local cuisine of Ehime prefecture.
I ordered a beef dish.
Evening View of Dogo Onsen
After dinner, I will take pictures of evening and night scene at Dogo Onsen Hot Spring.
I will start to take evening photos at Dogo Onsen station. Unfortunately, the sky was gloomy.
Dogo Onsen station was renewed last November and Starbucks was opened there. I will visit it tomorrow.
“Asuka-no-yu(飛鳥乃湯泉)”. This was Dogo Onsen Annex and opened last December.
I changed color setting a little bit.
I passed through Dogo Shopping Arcade and went to Dogo Onsen Honkan.
Installation looked bright around this time.
There was a bear art work in the rear of Dogo Onsen Honkan.
Other snaps.
Night View of Dogo Onsen
I moved to Dogo Onsen station again.
It became dark around this time.
I think lighted-up Dogo Onsen station was very attractive.
“Asuka-no-yu (飛鳥乃湯泉)”.
I will visit “Asuka-no-yu (飛鳥乃湯泉)” to take a bath the next day.
“Tsubaki-no-yu (椿の湯)”.
“Tsubaki-no-yu (椿の湯)” was also renovated last year and an art work was exhibited.
I will take night photos of Dogo Onsen Honkan as the last spot.
As I mentioned before, the installation work made Dogo Onsen Honkan more attractive.
Other snaps.
By the way. I didn’t use a tripod so far and took all of the photos by hand-held shooting.
Here are only photos I took with the tripod.
Then, I returned to the hotel and the second day of my Ehime Matsuyama trip was over.
[Closing]
That’s it for the article about night view of Dogo Onsen Hot Spring as part of Day 2 of my Ehime Matsuyama trip.
There were lots of spots which were suitable for night photos at Dogo Onsen, including Dogo Onsen Honkan and Asuka-no-yu. This was my first trip after I changed my camera setting from “α7 II & SEL1635Z” to “α7 III & SEL1635GM” and I realized night photos with hand-held shooting became easier thanks to my new camera and lens 🙂
In the next article, I will write about Asuka-no-yu and Mican Room as part of Day 3.
